{Private to West}
Darling, we've a cake testing at 3 o'clock. Is that acceptable?

I have also taken the liberty of making us dinner reservations for this evening.
{/Private to West}

So much talk of Quidditch. I will be grateful when this World Cup business is done with. That said, I will, of course, be hoping for an English victory.

{Private to Belinda}
I find myself in need of a shopping partner this weekend. Do tell me you'll have a free moment. There is no one whose taste I trust more.

Planning a wedding is a great deal of work. I find myself contemplating a brief holiday, but of course that would set back our schedule and what would that accomplish? There is so much to do, though. The task is a little daunting. Mother spoke of us hiring a coordinator to help with some of these details. Perhaps I should take her up on that offer.

Am I the only one who does not give a shit about Quidditch? Honestly. Talk about something else.

It really is a shame about that statue, isn't it? not really To think that anyone could deface such an important monument. I do hope that whomever did it is caught and brought to justice.

In other news, planning a wedding is rather a lot of work, isn't it? Of course, it's bound to be when it is such a big affair, but I can't help feeling slightly overwhelmed. It is fortunate we've decided on a lengthy engagement, so as to give ourselves plenty of time.

Are you free for lunch sometime this week? It feels like an eternity since we have got together and I would love to catch up.

2003. Entry One. [Thursday

I don't really see what all the fuss is over these new journals. Who cares about psychedelic colours? I much prefer something a little more classic, personally. And if only we could block out all the rubbish. Some people I could really do without having to see on these things

I must admit the network is useful when it comes to keeping in touch with old friend, though. I've been neglectful of mine for a bit, but planning a wedding is a lot of work. Still, I think I will make an effort to write in this a little more again.

Things have been so hectic since the beginning of the term and it's hard to believe that January is behind us already. NEWTs aren't until next year, but I've found myself buried between my studies and my other obligations. I think it's time for a break.

Pansy, dear, we still need to have that chat. After dinner this evening, perhaps? We have so much to catch up on.

Of course, the same could be said for many other people. I feel as thought I have barely seen my own housemates since the holidays came to an end.

Private to Blaise
That applies double for you, you know. You keep teasing me with promises that we'll find some time together and we both seem to be so terribly busy. I think it's about time we correct that, don't you?

Is anyone else very amused right now?

I have no plans to return to Hogwarts early, but I'm almost tempted just to watch the masses squirm about.

To tell or not to tell? That is the question.

On the one hand, this is information Pansy absolutely should be privy, too. On the other, perhaps it would be more useful to hold onto it. I can't, offhand, think of anything I desire from Malfoy or Greengrass; however, that does not mean they will not be of use to me in the future.

At any rate, I cannot do much damage during the winter holidays, can I? Perhaps I will consult with Belinda. She might provide some insight that I have not yet considered.

I, for one, am exceedingly grateful to be at home.

numero uno: melinda is picky [Sunday

Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt.

Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Now Men.... Men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it's up to Women to stomp the shit out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

SO true. The part about the men, anyway. Any woman who believes the first part is an idiot.

In other news, some little mudblood fifth year asked me to go into Hogmeade with him yesterday. First of all, he's about four feet tall. Second of all... ew. Needless to say, I abstained.
